A defining challenge: Started as the first paid employee in a small startup, spent 8 years there, went through IPO and became responsible for cloud and hardware business of a major company.

Initial Responsibilities: CI/CD & Distribution Systems

  • Created artifact build pipeline based on Jenkins and opensource project BigTop (Gradle)
  • Established first generation git flow based on Jenkins and GitHub
  • Provided testing and development infrastructure based on clouds (Google Cloud, Yandex Cloud, VK Cloud, Selectel), scaling to tens of thousands of CPU cores and thousands of CI runs daily
  • Transferred company from GitHub to internal GitLab and recreated CI based on new software
  • Built CI, SRE and internal IT teams from scratch to 30+ people total

Second Challenge: Arenadata Enterprise Platform

  • Designed and created ADCM (Cluster Manager) software to distribute and control company software on client side
  • Built and grew "bundle" team responsible for writing software controlling code (Python, Ansible)
